Methodology

In short, we take the up-to-date trading price from PredictIt.com and convert that to a betting odds percentage. We then average that result with the average polling gap of the last ten head-to-head polls, multiplied by two to account for exponential chance imrpovement with each percentage point ahead nationally. This results in an intuitive and consistent blend of betting averages and recent polling results.
